The Syncera story
Where we come from.
This page is for the curious — the operating history of Syncera UK Ltd, the company behind Syncera Mobile. If you just want a SIM, the plans are here.
The World chapter.
Our team was part of the first operator to take the World network's kiosk model to live scale — the operation that verified 500,000 humans in Portugal and 200,000 in Brazil, standing up 14 live locations in under three months.
From May to July 2026 we ran our own World kiosk operation in London as an independent Operator Partner, with our first site live at Westfield Stratford City from 8 May 2026. That chapter closed in mid-2026, as World entered the next phase of its global rollout and wound down in-market operations across its markets — and everything we learned about venues, field teams and footfall now powers what we're building next.

On the World chapter, for clarity: Syncera UK operated as an independent Operator Partner. We were not Tools for Humanity or the World Foundation, we did not promote crypto, tokens or any financial-services product, and we never held custody of user funds or user data — verification happened on the Orb and any user data stayed on the user's device.
What it taught us.
Standing up verification kiosks in stations and shopping centres taught us the things that now define Syncera Mobile: how to win high-footfall venues, how to build and run field teams people actually trust, and how much of a difference it makes when a customer can ask a real human a question before committing.
That playbook — and the team behind it — is what Syncera Mobile is built on. More about the company →
